Fiery Wall of Protection spell
Materials Needed:
- Archangel Michael candle (Or a white candle to represent him in a pinch)
- White candle to represent the person or people you are protecting
- Black or gray candle to represent the person, people or energies you are seeking protection from.
- Banishing or Binding oil
- Fiery Wall of Protection oil
- Fiery Wall of Protection Herbal powder (Salt and pepper or a mixture of hot spices like chili powder, cayenne, or habenaro - mixed together and prayed over will work in a pinch)
- Dragons Blood incense
- Large plate
- Picture, prayer card or statue of Archangel Michael (optional if you don't have an Archangel Michael candle )
- Glass of water and frankincense incense for offering to Archangel Michael
- Photo or the person or people you need protection from with their names and birthdays (if possible) written on the back (Only for those protecting against specific people. Not necessary for general protections)
- Small mirror (Optional, to reflect negative energy away from you)
- Florida water or Holy water
- Heat proof container and pair of tweezers or tongs
Prepare Your Space:
Cleanse your space using the Dragons Blood incense and florida water or holy water. Walk around the area, wafting the smoke in every corner, while visualizing any negativity being cleared away.
Florida water or holy water, sprinkle it around the room, blessing the space for protection. Wipe it down your arms to cleanse and then run your hands through your aura, from the top of your head down and away from your body.
Set Up Your Altar:
- Carve the persons name that needs protection into the white candle, from the bottom up. Anoint the white candle with the Fiery wall of protection oil, again from the bottom up to the wick. To draw protection to you. Affirming your intention that the person be protected the whole time.
- Fix the candle to the small mirror if using or to the middle of the plate.
- Make a circle around the white candle with the fiery wall of protection herbal powder (or the salt and pepper, or hot pepper mix). Affirming to the powder your intention of what it needs to do (be a wall of flaming protection that burns anything that tries to get through it with ill intent).
- Carve the persons name into the black or gray candle, from the top down (to send away)
- Anoint the black or gray candle with the banishing oil (if you want them to go away) or the binding oil (if they can't be sent away but you want to stop their energy) from the top down to send the energy away. Affirming what you want to happen to the person or the energy. Like you are a General giving a command.
- Fix the black or gray candle outside the ring of fiery wall of protection powder.
- Set up the Archangel Michael candle to the side of the plate, not on the plate.
- If you have a picture or statue of Archangel Michael, place it near the candle as well.
- Add his glass of water and incense offering by his candle.
Invoke Archangel Michael:
Light his candle and his incense
"Saint Michael the Archangel defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen."
Light the white candle and say the following prayer:
"Archangel Michael, mighty protector and warrior of the Divine, I call upon you now. Surround me with your fiery light of protection. Stand guard over me, my home, and my loved ones. Protect me from all negativity, danger, and harm (specific person or energy) with your powerful Shield and flaming Sword. With this flame, I ignite the Fiery Wall of Protection around me. Let it burn strong and unbreakable, guarding me from all harm and danger. Nothing negative can cross this boundary. I am safe and protected in body, mind, and spirit."
Visualize Archangel Michael standing beside you, clad in armor, holding his shield over you and defending every attack with his flaming sword of protection.
Light the black or gray candle:
"Every move NN (state the persons name who you need protection from or the type of energy) makes against (me or person who needs protecting) will be burned up with the fiery flame. The more you move toward me the hotter the flame will burn you"
repeat 3x visualizing the flame burning the person or the energy.
Burn the persons picture in the black or gray candle. hold the picture with the tweezers or tongs so you don't burn your fingers.
Thank Archangel Michael for his protection.

Allow the white and black or gray candles to burn down completely. Relight them if you need to leave. Snuff Archangel Michaels candle as soon as the other candles have gone out and the spell is complete. It does not need to burn out on its own.
Dispose of the Remnants:
If you’ve used a small mirror, keep it in a place where it can continue to reflect negative energy away from you, like near your front door.
If you used protective herbs, you can scatter them outside your home or bury them near your front door to maintain a protective boundary.
